General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Takes The Paternity Test, Portia Doesn’t Think Spencer’s Presence Is Appropriate?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that when Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) shows up at GH to take the paternity test, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will be with her. Curtis Ashford, (Donnell Turner) Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will also be there, and Portia won’t think Spencer’s presence appropriate.
General Hospital Spoilers: Trauma Brought Them Closer
After spending some harrowing hours on board The Haunted Star held hostage by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) Trina and Spencer became even closer. Surviving traumatic experiences that were the literal life or death kind tends to do that, whether Portia likes it or not. Curtis is grateful that Spencer watched out for Trina the way that he did, and protected her as best he could, but Portia is inwardly livid.
Portia still thinks Spencer is a rich entitled kid who has done nothing but bring Trina danger, but Trina is no little girl that Portia can confine to a playpen! Marcus and Curtis fully agree that Trina is old enough to make her own romantic choices and she’s bonded to Spencer and him to her.
GH Spoilers: Checking In With Spencer Cassadine
While Trina, Curtis and Marcus are waiting to take the paternity test that will tell them for sure who Trina’s birth father is, she checks in with Spencer about home life. He absolutely hated going home with his grandmother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) after handing off baby brother Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) to Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Spencer hates even more that they all live together, wanting to be Ace’s sole guardian like he had originally planned, especially since his father’s nowhere to be found. Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) hasn’t been seen for months now and apparently isn’t even keeping up with the news, there was no evidence of him being with Victor. Trina doesn’t like the situation either, but she is supportive – she knows Esmé has her legal rights.
General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Robinson Loves Her Mom But Needs Her Boyfriend
Trina loves her mom, but needs her boyfriend’s support for the answers that are to come, and that’s why she wanted Spencer there. There is some lingering tension since Portia blames Spencer for bringing danger to Trina even though it was Trina’s idea to stow away on The Haunted Star-which Portia will never believe. Portia needs to get used to the idea that Trina’s not leaving Spencer and Spencer’s not being manipulated away from Trina, no matter how much Portia might want to.
Trina’s a little nervous about what the paternity test might show, even though since Marcus raised her she reiterated he’ll always be her dad no matter what. She might just have two dads since she bonded to Curtis too after he risked his life to save her, Spencer, and the rest on the boat.
