General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy is Setting the Stage for Martin to Take Over ELQ — What Will the Q’s Say?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is hard at work trying to ensure the family business stays afloat and finds itself back in solely Quartermaine hands — which is more than any other Q is doing at the moment. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) may have to act on her husband’s behalf while Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is figuratively out to lunch.

That likely brings Tracy great displeasure, but she’s shoring up reinforcement by making sure Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) is prepared to act as Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) liaison in his absence. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is otherwise engaged with his recovering wife, and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is currently unavailable to make it to board meetings. What will the Q fam have to say about Tracy’s invitation to Marty?

Marty has a lot on his mind lately trying to figure out why Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is behaving so strangely, but that doesn’t mean he has overlooked the fact that Tracy is known for having an ulterior motive when it comes to, well, pretty much anything Tracy does.

Inviting Marty to have a seat on the board of ELQ seems practical on the surface, given that Valentin is in Russia for the foreseeable future. But it seemed far too convenient that Tracy offered Marty this position just before the Quartermaine picnic. Marty may be wondering what that day is going to have in store for him.

GH Spoilers Hint Tracy Knows His Secret

Tracy knows more than she’s letting on about Marty, and it’ll likely all come together for him at the picnic. She knows about his ex-wife, his connections to The Deceptor, and that it’s not a new idea he came up with. Having him over a barrel and terrified that she’ll squeal and destroy Lucy’s empire will be more than enough to bend Marty to her will and make him vote in line with every measure she does.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Family Won’t Have Much Say

Honestly, the Quartermaine’s are a busy bunch right now. It’s the perfect time for Tracy to deploy her ulterior motives because everyone else is distracted, distraught, or detained. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is busy tending to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is in lock-up for three years.

Valentin may not be a Q but he counts as one at ELQ and there is no telling when he’ll be back from Chechnya. Ned thinks he’s Eddie and may for some time. Tracy is counting on everyone to stay out of her way as she strongarms Marty into helping her reshape ELQ into what she wants it to be.
