General Hospital Spoilers reveal Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) might be overcome by the bold and easygoing personality of Eddie Maine right now, but his wife is more than willing to be patient and let him go on like this for as long as he can.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) sees no reason why she should have Eddie hauled off to Shadybrook when he’s not a danger to himself or anyone else.
Of course, that depends on what one’s definition of danger is. His mother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), seems to think that his stint as Eddie is only wreaking havoc and causing harm, but could she have other reasons for desperately wanting Ned to return to himself besides just missing her son? This is Tracy we’re talking about.
General Hospital Spoilers — Olivia and Eddie Flirt with Change
Olivia may have felt a dagger in her back when Eddie was flirting with Carly at the bar, but he was quick to divert his attention to Olivia when it was she who needed reducing from Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) clutches.
A few more entanglements like this, and Eddie and Olivia could be on their way to a new kind of romance. Might he bring about the side of her she spoke of that she left behind in Bensonhurst with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer)?
Will he question whether she’s just interested in getting closer to him in an attempt to lure Ned out of hiding though?
GH Spoilers Suggest Tracy Has an Agenda
Tracy is always up to her old tricks. She’s never without a plan and she has this one fairly well mastered. Not only has she snagged proprietary information from Deception, but she knows about Martin ‘Marty’ Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) past and intends to use it against him if she must.
He’s going to come in handy when she makes a play for ELQ and hopes to sway the votes in her direction. Is Tracy ready to come out of retirement and reprise a role running the company? If so, how does Eddie’s plight help her?
General Hospital Spoilers — Diane and Marty Come Into Play
Eddie is Ned as far as the Q’s are concerned but that doesn’t mean they want him voting on the board with Eddie’s mind.
The problem is, Tracy can’t annex him from the board without proving he’s unstable, and so far, he hasn’t done much that gives her evidence of such.
But having him thrown in a mental institution sure would give her the leverage she needs. Will Marty be forced to vote alongside her?
Can Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) help her see to it that Ned heads to Shadybrook and things go in the direction she wants while Eddie and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are both out of commission? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to find out.
