General Hospital Spoilers: TJ’s Concerns About Kristina Aren’t Unfounded — But Will They Become a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy?
General Hospital Spoilers reveal TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) is still every bit as concerned about Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) being the surrogate for he and Molly Lansing Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) baby as he ever was.
Although there have been no signs of alarm emanating from Kristina, he can’t help but worry that this will all culminate in disaster when Kristina finally gives birth to a baby who is biologically her own.
TJ is stressed that there is no end game in which the surrogate fades into the background. Instead, Kristina will forever be in their lines, and she’ll know that TJ and Molly’s child is her own. He’s not confident that she has the emotional maturity and stability to handle that. Is he wrong?
General Hospital Spoilers — Molly is the Aunt
Technically, Kristina is the biological mother to this child, and TJ is the biological father. He didn’t have much time to think about how that made him feel before Molly was fully invested in Kristina being their egg donor so that she could have a genetic tie to their child, too.
TJ hasn’t had time to even consider what this will be like someday for their child — learning their aunt is really their mom, genetically. Will they even make it that far as a family, or are Molly and TJ destined to lose their dream of being parents together as soon as the baby is born?
GH Spoilers Hint Kristina Goes for the Jugular
This past week, we saw Kristina dismiss any and all concerns from Molly about how she couldn’t make it to the latest doctor’s appointment.
She and TJ were too tied up with work to be there, and Kristina dismissed it as no big deal. But over time, if this kind of thing continues to happen, Kristina may start to view their lack of participation as something more concerning.
In fact, she may start to worry that TJ doesn’t really want this baby, and Molly isn’t as invested as she needs to be to be a good mother. Would she dare to utter such words in her sister’s direction though?
General Hospital Spoilers — Be Careful What You Wish For
TJ isn’t being transparent with Molly about his concerns regarding Kristina, and that could breed resentment over time. Molly may come to hold it against him if everything goes sour and he later tells her he was worried about this happening all along.
Will Kristina really be able to walk away from this experience without feeling like she is the mother to this child? Will she be able to cut ties and watch her niece or nephew grow up calling Molly “mom” instead of her?
As TJ continues to play these thoughts out through his mind hoping that he’s just a bundle of nerves, the severity of the situation when his worst fears come true could be enough to blow his domestic partnership with mMolly out of the water.
