The condo of Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) has become a prominent setting on GH. On Laura’s coffee table, there lies a Star Trek book, a tribute to Genie Francis’ spouse, Jonathan Frakes.
This isn’t the first instance of GH incorporating actor-related “Easter eggs.” Interestingly, Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Quartermaine) also shares a Star Trek link, having portrayed Ensign Miral Paris in Star Trek Voyager and contributed voiceovers for various Star Trek franchise video games.
Laura’s Apartment Has Been The Focus In The Current Storyline
Laura’s (Francis) apartment has recently become a significant location in the storyline. It served as the backdrop for Laura’s terrifying encounter with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Additionally, it was the focal point for a sighting of Baby Ace Prince Cassadine (Karis & Kieran Barry) and Kevin’s return home.
Over the years, this apartment has been the residence of Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), and it is where she nurtured her relationship with her husband.
However, it was more than just Francis’ on-screen husband present-the Star Trek book is significant because her real life husband Jonathan Frakes played Commander William Riker on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) office frequently displayed a framed picture of Storms and her daughter. This was her real-life daughter Harper Barash, who portrayed the infant Georgie Spinelli.
Additionally, several years ago, when Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) reached out to Robert Scorpio (the late Tristan Rogers), she inquired about his activities in Wisconsin.
This referenced Rogers’ character on The Young and the Restless, which is set in Genoa City, Wisconsin, and Daniel Goddard, who recently left GH as Henry Dalton, played Rogers’ son on the CBS soap.
