General Hospital Spoilers: The Shocking Shooting of Cyrus – Meet the 3 Key Suspects!
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease fans should get ready, because chaos is on the horizon in Port Charles! The latest soap preview for the week of February 17-21 has just been released, and it’s packed with thrilling hints about the drama that awaits fans in the coming days.
Cyrus Renault Targets A New Victim
Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is set to unleash his sinister plans on a new target in the episode airing Monday, February 17.
The sneak peek reveals the criminal preparing a fresh dose of digitalis, while Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) updates Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on the chaos Cyrus has cause. Two more victims have been discovered during his so-called ‘volunteering’ at the hospital and Turning Woods.
As the preview unfolds, a chilling moment captures Cyrus discovering Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in his secret lair, and he later makes a menacing appearance at Elizabeth’s doorstep.
Both Joss and Elizabeth are visibly shaken by his presence-the preview culminates in two gunshots, leaving fans to speculate that Cyrus’s reign of terror may soon come to an end.
Rescue Or Target, Someone Is Shot Or Shot At!
A loved one may be on a mission to rescue either Elizabeth or Josslyn, potentially putting an end to the ongoing terror. There are three key suspects who might be wielding the gun, excluding Josslyn, who has been carrying Dex’s police-issued weapon-first on the list is Jack Brennan.
Since Cyrus discovers Josslyn at his secret hideout, the threat of an attack looms large; it’s unclear whether Cyrus will confront Josslyn first or target Elizabeth at her home.
However, Brennan has been the catalyst, pushing Josslyn to delve into the mystery surrounding Dex’s stabbing under the guise of a “WSB Agent test.” If he provides her with clues that lead to Cyrus’ lair, he will hopefully follow her to ensure her safety; should Cyrus make a move, Jack could very well intervene.
Lucky Spencer Could Save The Day
Joss has shown remarkable quick thinking recently, which raises the question: can she navigate her way out of a perilous situation? Cyrus, on the other hand, has been increasingly suspicious of Elizabeth, convinced that she’s the source of the doubts surrounding his motives.
As Monday’s episode approaches, it seems likely that she will become his main focus-we recall his murderous looks at her unobserved at GH recently.
Could Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson, temporarily portrayed by Guy Wilson) swoop in to rescue her and pave the way for a romantic rekindling between him and Liz if Cyrus makes a move?
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Isaiah Wilson (Sawandi Wilson) will work to save a life in Thursday’s episode-will it be Cyrus himself, or one of his victims?
Jason Morgan Is Out For Revenge And Protection
Currently, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is being held at the PCPD to keep him from killing Cyrus-however, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is dismayed and have questions for Anna.
It’s possible that Mac may convince her to let Jason go, since his threat to Cyrus was in protection of Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and he could have killed Cyrus right then.
Jason has an uncanny ability to sense impending danger, solidifying his status as Port Charles’ ultimate hero.
Imagine if he catches wind of Josslyn’s risky escapades, decides to follow her, and confronts Cyrus with a gun. Not only would he be rescuing Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) daughter, but he could also unravel Brennan’s scheme that put Joss in harm’s way.
Be sure to catch up on everything happening with GH right now. Come back here often for General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates.
Since Brennan is with Carly, Jason is/was in custody (writers want us to suspect him), and most everyone else is at Valentines Day festivities except Josslyn, my very uneducated guess is that she shows up with Dex’s gun and shoots Cyrus to save Liz. I hope. But I’m often wrong, so could be again! Lol
