General Hospital Spoilers: That Was Anticlimactic! Sonny Doesn’t Care About Josslyn & Dex Dating
GH spoilers (GH) spoilers hint at some drama on the horizon in Port Charles. One thing that both Josslyn Jack (Eden McCoy) and Dexter Heller (Evan Hofer) don’t have to worry about is being “caught” in the act by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). The two were recently outed by the mob boss, but as it turns out, “he’s not the romance police”. Mmmmkay, so why were both fans and the young couple so concerned? Is there no need to “sneak around” anymore?
GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Considers Josslyn Jacks As “One Of His Own”
Yes, Josslyn is now an adult and can do as she pleases, but the fact that Sonny fluffed off Ms. Jacks and Heller as a couple is surprising. He considers her as “one of his children”. Would he feel the same way if Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) was dating Dex?
While Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are no longer together, this does not negate the many years Corinthos spent and bonded with Joss. He’s known her all her life and watched her grow up. He’s even helped raise her, in many ways. When the Hook killer was on the loose, he made sure she was protected. He’ll likely continue to do so in the years ahead, despite the fact that he and Carly have divorced. Therefore, it’s interesting that he would be okay with her dating anyone in “the business”, knowing the dangers linked to the mob world.
GH Spoilers: Is Sonny Giving Dex A Pass Because He Saved His Life?
Then again, Joss isn’t just dating “anyone” in the mob business. She’s dating Dex; someone who has not only “proven” his loyalty to Sonny but is also a trained henchman who can see danger from a mile away. Sonny may be giving both Ms. Jack and Heller a pass because he knows that Joss will be safe with Dex. He also knows (or thinks he knows) that Heller is trustworthy. Viewers can’t also ignore the fact that Sonny (believes he) “owes” Heller for saving his life at the warehouse recently. Is that why Dex has been given “a pass” to date Joss?

Yes it is very odd Sonny would look the other way regarding Joss/Dex regardless of Dex saving Sonny’s life. Perhaps Sonny is just not acting on the situation as I am sure he is not putting his full trust in Dex. Sonny is somewhat conflicted as he needs a Jason #2 and was hoping Dex could fill the bill. Dex still has to answer for being in cahoots with Michael, and the fact that his true agenda/identity is still to be revealed.
