General Hospital Spoilers: Steve Burton Reveals BTS Video, Showing Fans Stuff They May Have Never Seen Before

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that if you are a fan of Steve Burton and follow him on social media, you can sense that he’s over the moon to be back in the land of Port Charles. He made a splashing return to the soap earlier this year in March, and it’s clear he’s very happy to be back “home”.

Burton recently hopped on social media to provide his fans a sneak peek of some behind-the-scenes stuff on GH. More on this story, below.

GH Spoilers: Steve Burton Is Very Grateful To Be Back

Burton posted a video of himself backstage on Instagram. In selfie format, he opens the clip with, “Hey, what’s up!”

He goes on to say, “I’m at work today. I’m at the top of the nurse’s hub. I don’t think I’ve been up here before. Maybe once. But this is kind of where we park all the equipment, in the nurse’s hub, before we start our day, so, we can shoot this awesome show for you. Have a great day.”

The caption of the post read, “Much gratitude! 🙏🏻Thank you for watching @generalhospitalabc”

GH Spoilers: A View Of The Hospital, Like None Other!

It’s rare to see characters go up the stairs at the hospital, and fans don’t ever see the view from above, especially not like in Burton’s IG video! In the clip, he panned the camera across the studio, where users could see lighting rigs, which hung from the ceiling, and then focused on the nurses’ station set.

Burton jumped into his Jason Morgan role (originally Jason Quartermaine) on GH in 1991 and exited the soap in 2012. He then hopped over to the Young and the Restless to play Dylan McAvoy from 2013 to 2017, only to return to Port Charles later in 2017. Of course, Burton was let go from the soap in November 2021 due to ABC’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate but returned earlier this year.

While he was away from GH, he reprised his 1980s Days of Our Lives character, Harris Michaels, and participated in the Peacock special, Beyond Salem in 2022, and joined the mothership show from 2023 to 2024 until he returned to GH.
