GH Spoilers: Nicholas Chavez’s Final Airdate
GH spoilers state that Spencer’s last episode on the show will be Wednesday, January 31st. As of this writing, it’s unclear how Cassadine will exactly leave storylines or how this will all be addressed; however, viewers need to brace themselves for a dramatic exit.
Chavez is gearing up to film Netflix’s new series, MONSTER, where Nicholas and actor Cooper Koch will play the infamous Erik and Lyle Menendez, the brothers who were convicted in 1996 of killing their parents.
GH audiences have been expecting something of this sort since it was announced in June 2023 that Chavez was taking on the role.
In fact, a GH representative told Soap Opera Digest (SOD) at that time that the soap would support Nicholas’s endeavors when the production of MONSTER was going to begin, with hopes that he would return to the daytime drama once the project was done.
GH Spoilers: Nicholas Chavez’s History With The Soap
Chavez entered the Spencer Cassadine role in 2021, taking on the character from beloved young actor Nicolas Bechtel, who played the part from 2013 to 2020.
Fans and grown to love Bechtel; however, Chavez truly transformed the character into his own from the moment he was recast in the part.
He snagged a Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Young Performer in 2022 and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category in 2023.
Possibly Nicholas’s biggest achievement within the soap was having Spencer reach super couple status with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), as fans have had a huge reaction to their “Sprina” romance.
