General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Will Never Let Jason And Carly Be Together!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Morgan) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have been in each other’s lives for decades. For most of that time, their bond has been unbreakable, but not on a romantic level.
Instead, their love for each other has been mostly platonic with one major exception. When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) was believed to be dead, Jason and Carly decided to get married to keep Sonny’s organization safe.

Jason and Carly agreed that their marriage would not be in name only, they would become husband and wife in every way, But before they could consummate their relationship, Sonny returned. Carly returned to her husband and not long after that, Jason disappeared and was presumed dead for over two years.
A lot had changed once Jason returned. Carly and Sonny divorced and Carly soon became involved with Jason’s twin, Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson).
But once Jason returned,, Drew immediately broke things off with Carly because he knew that in Carly’s mind, Jason would always come first.

What Carly doesn’t know is that Jason was missing because he was working undercover for the FBI. The FBI was blackmailing Jason with a recording that proved Carly had taken over Sonny’s business during the time Sonny was missing.
Once Carly finds out the truth, the romantic feelings between Jason and Carly could come rushing back. But unfortunately thanks to Sonny’s presence, the two of them could never have a romantic relationship and live in Port Charles at the same time.

While Sonny and Carly haven’t been together in years now, there’s no way he would allow Carly and Jason to live romantically together.
If Sonny can’t have her, then there’s no way he would allow Jason to. In addition, Jason knows that Carly will always have a pull toward Sonny and wouldn’t necessarily be able to trust her around him.
Jason and Carly seem to work better as the best of friends who would do anything for each other. Adding a romantic factor would likely ruin it for the both of them.

This question as been posed ever since Jason returned alive and well. Jason has also stated he likes the things the way they are between the two. Why do we have to revisit this same question over and over again. The two are best as friends, not even friends with benefits. Let’s move on.
Even if Jason felt a romantic need for Carly, as long as Sonny is alive and kicking, he would never himself to have that type of relationship with her.
