General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make a confession-will he admit in court he planted false Pikeman intel?
It may be the only possible defense he has against the Federal charges he faces.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Was Faking A Shipment
Sonny was actually faking a shipment, which was all part of a plan to reel in Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) boss.
Sonny has to be careful that he doesn’t say exactly why, except that it has to do with a Port Charles Police Department missing persons case.
He doesn’t want to make trouble for Ava Jerome (Maura West) who’s been blackmailed over killing Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), but says he had reason to believe this person knows something.
He refers to Nikolas and that his ex-wife Ava had been blackmailed concerning his having disappeared from the Spoon Island stables.
The blackmailer, who he doesn’t come out and name, wanted her to find intel on Pikeman to stop the blackmail so he planted a flash drive with fake intel to find.
GH Spoilers: Prove It
The FBI’s attorney wants Sonny to prove it, when they haven’t even offered up anything except photos of crates at the dock labeled “Pikeman”.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) questions what was in the crates that were confiscated, because there’s nothing in discovery motions that they’ve even been opened!
Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) perks up when he hears the part about Nikolas disappearing from the stable because that’s one of his cold cases.
He wishes he could talk to Sonny about what Ava’s been blackmailed about but he can’t-he’ll have to follow up with Ava, in a non-accusatory manner.
Diane challenges the Feds to prove what they have first, wanting to know what was found in said crates labeled “Pikeman”.
General Hospital Spoilers: A Whole Lot Of Nothing?
Diane, and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) who has also been allowed in the federal courtroom can’t believe how sloppy the FBI case is against Sonny and his men.
He was questioned for three days in which neither the FBI interrogators or Sonny had any sleep, trying to get him to confess without legal counsel.
Is photographs of unopened crates all they have as their evidence-they’re required to show what else they have against her client; Sonny continues to describe his attempted sting.
Sonny highly suspects that Mason and Austin’s boss, who’s suspected now to be someone in Pentonville Prison turned the fake intel into the Feds.
But in order to prove it, the Feds have to play more of a hand than photos of unopened crates!
