General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be summoned to the PCPD. Considering he was in on the prison transport operation to save Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that went so horribly wrong, will this be another setup by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy)?
General Hospital Spoilers: Who Sent That Guy?
As Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was set to take Anna from GH, where she’d had a stall tactic phlebotomy something went horribly wrong. Sonny was in place as Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) gave Anna the plan as Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), something they’d previously arranged. However, over at Wyndemere, where Victor was arguing with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) Laura Collins (Genie Francis) announced her homecoming-complete with Valentin and Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain).
So why would Victor head over to GH, where he ran into Sonny-he knew his plan to take down Anna was ruined. Dex knew it had to be one of Victor’s henchmen who put Heather Webber (Alley Mills) in the transport van with Anna, and Victor knew Sonny was in on the plan!
GH Spoilers: Fugitive On The Run
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will get a lead on a fugitive, but that’s only one fugitive; she still won’t consider Anna one, but Heather is a definite. In the meantime, Victor has issued new orders but Anna expresses her gratitude, so somehow Anna made it out of the van without harm, after Dex struggled with the henchman. The henchman’s gun went off and the van crashed, with both him and henchman passed out and Heather in the wind. The van is found with Dex slumped over the steering wheel, his outcome unknown. Victor has operatives all over the PCPD and the courts, including in Laura’s office and his orders are to bring Sonny in, and set him up for springing the prisoners.
General Hospital Spoilers: Difficult Cooperation
Naturally, Victor’s operatives will have some difficult cooperation from Jordan and Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) can be fired by Laura in a heartbeat. The Mayor’s got more power than anyone in Port Charles, and she can also fire the Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Arden (Jennifer Field) who’s now in Victor’s pocket as well. But the problem is, Sonny has too long of a rap sheet and he’s the perfect patsy for Victor.
Sonny’s friends in high places will have to work extra hard to prove that he didn’t send his new enforcer to crash the van and free the prisoners. Anna, in hiding, will have to work extra hard to get proof she was framed as well as Sonny will.
