GH spoilers note that as of this writing, there’s not much information about how Jason will reappear on the canvas and what he’s been through.
The network and soap have remained quite “hush-hush” about details. The last fans saw, a tunnel collapsed on top of him in Greece and he was presumed dead.
Still, much like many soap opera characters before him, he’s escaped death. But without knowing the traumatic events he’s endured during the past two years, it’s hard to say whether or not he’ll return as the same old Jason Morgan, a henchman with a heart of gold, or if his personality has changed.
After all, a few months in prison has drastically altered the behavior of his twin brother, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), right? Jason could come back a villain and even a sleeker version of himself.
GH Spoilers: Steve Burton Recently Offered Some Clues
During the Daily Drama podcast earlier this month, hosts Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli) talked about Jason’s “new” wardrobe for his comeback.
Anderson asked his GH colleague and friend about what it looked like, and Burton teased that he doesn’t have to worry about the color palette because it’s going to “stay the same buddy”.
This seems to hint that Jason may be donning the same look as before, but reading into his words, there’s no mention of the black leather jacket, T-shirt, and jeans Stone Cold was infamous for.
After all, just because the color palette isn’t changing, doesn’t mean the actual clothes won’t. Could Jason trade in his thug-like black threads for a black business suit?
It could be that Burton is swerving fans during his DD podcast so that they can be caught off guard when Jason makes his splashing comeback.
