Is Ric in Danger?
Ric has gone out of his way to bond with his once estranged brother, mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). They are like two peas in a pod, working together to take down Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
However, based on soapy tropes, we fear that their new bond could be short-lived.
Ric is working as Sonny’s attorney now that his number two guy, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is unavailable.
Ric and Sonny Are Brothers
And, on the personal front, Ric is working to win back Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and she’s allowed him to woo her.
Ric’s daughter Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vagano) also doesn’t hate him, so what could go wrong for Ric in his new era?
Ric’s New Era
For starters, Ric might pull a fast one on Sonny or betray him with the bad guys. That would be a quick way to end one’s life!
But fans spotted something in the April 10 episode that got ears perked up. Ric and Sonny discussed their plan to neutralize Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and at the end things got sentimental.
Sonny vowed to see that Ric was protected from danger and Ric made light of it, saying Sonny could afford to lose him.
In turn the mobster insisted he didn’t want to lose Ric.
Ric and Sonny Banter
Sonny verified that his feelings are such he would be desolate if he lost Ric and the moment was sweet and possibly foreboding.
The situation with Jenz is volatile and he plans to retaliate against Sonny because he thinks he murdered his son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo). We expect that he goes after Sonny’s loved ones with a possible fatality in the end.
