General Hospital Spoilers: Portia’s Pregnancy Leaves Trina Scrambling – Will She Figure Out Her Mother’s Secret?
General Hospital spoilers report Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) being pregnant came as big news to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), and her mom will be less than thrilled that she heard it from anyone but her.
Still, Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) honest mistake was enough to rock the household on Thanksgiving as Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was hauled off to the PCPD for questioning in connection with Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison), and the truth about his new relationship with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) came to light before the turkey was done cooking.
Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) might continue to try to be the voice of reason, but Trina is clearly on a warpath, and she’s not going to rest until she gets some answers. Will she seek them for her mom?
Baby on Board
Trina probably can’t fathom why her mom wouldn’t tell her about her pregnancy. This is supposed to be a happy experience most of the time.
When Marshall reiterated that Portia wanted to wait until the first trimester was over to tell people, Trina was clearly offended, reminding that she is not “people,” but her daughter.
The look on Marshall and Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) faces was that of agreement, but what else could they say? The cat was out of the bag and Trina has been left reeling, trying to make it make sense as to why her parents would split up at a time like this, and why no one has been telling her the truth.
GH Spoilers Tease Trina Goes Straight to the Source
It makes sense that Trina would want to hear it from her mom’s lips that she is expecting, but the way she demands this information could change everything — especially if she does it in an impulsive way that lets others know she’s pregnant. Others like…Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
That’s going to throw a wrench into things even more if Trina doesn’t bite her tongue. Still, Portia’s explanation is likely to be similar to that of Marshall’s, but it won’t hold up in Trina’s emotional court of law. Is there any way Portia mends this rift with her daughter without making Curtis look like he has abandoned his wife in her time of need?
Tipping the Scales
To add insult to injury, Curtis looks worse than he is right now because his relationship with Jordan is suddenly on everyone’s lips — at least within the Ashford family. Meanwhile, Portia’s relationship with Isaiah has stayed quietly tucked away in a cabin in the woods.
Without the other side of the story, Trina may default to thinking of her dad as the bad guy in this scenario, and Portia might convince herself that that is for the best.
