General Hospital Spoilers: Portia And Terry Clash Over Brad’s Shocking Return
General Hospital spoilers tease that Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) received quite a shock recently when Brad Cooper (Perry Shen) showed up in her office earlier this week.
Not only did Brad want to return to General Hospital as an entry-level lab technician, but he also wanted Terry to put in a good word for him. Pulling out Brad’s personnel file from his previous tenure at the hospital, Terry rattled off a list of offenses Brad committed the last time he was employed there.

But Brad asked for a second chance anyway, but Terry wasn’t having it until Brad mentioned Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) who died over a year ago at the hands of Heather Webber (Alley Mills). While Terry and Britt didn’t get alone at first, they learned how to work together as Co-Chief of Staff.
Brad pointed out the Britt had been willing to give Brad a chance before she died and hoped that Terry would do the same. While she couldn’t promise anything, she did end up agreeing to put in a good word for Brad.

But there will certainly be more pushback if Brad is actually hired at General Hospital once again. As long-time viewers will remember, Brad conspired with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) to swap her baby with the baby he adopted with Lucas Jones (last played by Ryan Carnes).
Brad and Lucas ended up raising Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) son while Michael believed that his son died. Michael eventually got his son back but he’s not going to just forgive Brad for what he did. To make matters worse for Brad, Michael is one of the Board of Directors at General Hospital.

Meanwhile, Terry’s current Co-Chief of Staff, Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) likely won’t be happy either with Brad’s reinstatement. Portia isn’t one to forgive and forget as exemplified by her feelings about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Heather. But Heather may be what ultimately puts Portia and Brad on the same side.
Perhaps the two of them will even find common ground as they look for ways to stop Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) from having Heather’s case re-opened. Perhaps Portia and Brad will come up with a scheme involving Heather’s medical history to make sure Heather stays in prison.
