General Hospital Spoilers: Phyllis is Back — and Nina Spills Her Anxiety All Over Her

General Hospital Spoilers reveal all is not as it seems in Port Charles this holiday season, and a few key players are going to be worried that 2023 might bring a great upheaval in their lives. Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) has arrived back in Port Chuck just in time to celebrate the holiday season and ring in the new year with her friends, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Still, Phyllis might seem a bit tired of Nina’s concern over Sonny’s commitment to her. How much more does this woman need to feel secure? This could lead to a discussion about why Nina is so insecure in her relationships, and it might leave Phyllis remembering things she hadn’t thought about in a long time.

General Hospital Spoilers — Phyllis and Nina Catch Up

As Phyllis and Nina have begun to catch up with one another, Nina has shared with Phyllis that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) recently fainted when arguing with her. She was happy that she and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) came together in the moment to help Willow, but she also doesn’t care to think about Carly in any positive light. Why? She’s always subtly worried that she will never compare to this woman.

She already isn’t in Willow or Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) eyes. How long might it be until Sonny regrets his decision and wants to go back to his ex-wife? Phyllis will listen to this drivel without much enthusiasm before imploring Nina to consider whether Sonny is really the root of her insecurity, or if it’s a personality flaw within herself. Is Nina’s anxiety stemming from her past when she lost her child and her husband in one fell swoop all because of another woman — her mother?

GH Spoilers Hint Nina is Stressed About a Future With Sonny

The future is ripe with possibilities but Nina can’t see them as her eyes and judgment are quite clouded. When she starts spending more time thinking about her marriage to Silas Clay (Michael Easton) and the potential that a child would have saved them from divorce, she wonders if that’s why she feels so unstable with Sonny.

The other women in his life whom Sonny cares deeply for all share something with him that she doesn’t — a child. Obviously, Nina can’t share this with Sonny now, but she’s not sure she can go on living without that kind of bond either. Is she doomed to feel this insecure about her future with the mobster forever?

General Hospital Spoilers — Phyllis is Distracted by Memories of Lorraine Miller

When Nina opens up to Phyllis about the root of her anxiety, it’s going to take her back to the day she unknowingly helped Nina’s mother steal her child. This could jog new memories for Phyllis about that time in her life. In particular, she might remember things about Harmony ‘Lorriane’ Miller (Inga Cadranel) that she had forgotten until now, and it would be very timely to do so as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is currently investigating Harmony’s involvement in possibly abducted a newborn baby. Will Phyllis start to worry she was a part of a much larger plan to destroy Nina’s life than mere skirting away one daughter? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out what happens next
