General Hospital Spoilers: Perry Shen Advises Fans To “Buckle Up” For Some Crazy “Brad” Shenanigans
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that fans were pleasantly surprised when Brad Cooper, played by actor Perry Shen, turned up during the Monday, August 19 episode of the soap. It’s been about a year since viewers have seen Cooper, and he shared some wonderful scenes with Terry Randolf (Cassandra James), as his character was inquiring about employment at the hospital.
Not only was Brad looking for a job, but he and Terry talked about his history with the hospital, past schemes, and his late bestie, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
The scenes seemingly indicated that Brad’s appearance on Monday’s show was more than a one-off thing and he’s returning with a storyline. Still, at the same time, it looks as if Brad is continuing on his road to redemption journey.
Shen caught up with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to talk about Brad’s shocking return and what fans should expect next.
GH Spoilers: Perry Shen Catches Up With Steve Burton
Shen talked about how great it was to catch up with Cassandra, and he also got the chance to run into Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The actor saw Shen in the make-up room and immediately gave him a bear hug, lifting him off the ground, while stating, “Awww, this is awesome!”
Perry joked that he wasn’t sure if Steve’s statement was about Shen’s GH return or the hug … or possibly both!?

In his SOD interview, Shen also talked about how touched he was that the scenes with Terry brought up his character’s past, moreover, the bond Brad shared with Britt and their incredible friendship.
He’s clearly excited to be back on the soap, and fans are equally excited that he’s returned. He wrapped up his SOD interview with this message for GH viewers: “Buckle up for the shenanigans that only Brad can bring!”
He also added, “… of course, this return will also commence my reinstatement trolling on Soap Twitter. I always welcome the opportunity to bring more folks over to the Brad-Side!”
