General Hospital Spoilers suggest Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will open up to an old friend soon about her hopes for a future with her daughter, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Not so long ago, Nina thought her daughter was Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson), who was paid off by Nina’s then-husband Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to pretend to be Nina’s long-lost baby girl.
While that ended in shambles, Nina and Sasha were able to pick up the pieces of their broken relationship and become friends again. Nina has continued to look out for Sasha like a maternal figure, and now that she actually knows she has a daughter, Sasha is going to return the favor and be of support to Nina in her time of need. But how much confidence can Sasha offer Nina while Willow is whispering in Sasha’s other ear about how much she detests her birth mom?
General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Loves Her Daughter
Nina has lost all ability to hold back on how she feels — or perhaps she never had such self control; she was just unleashing fury at Willow before. Now that she knows Willow is her daughter, she has instantly fallen in love with her grown-up baby girl. She is desperate to help, and not just because she wants her child to live, but because she’s hoping there is a chance she and Willow can have a real mother-daughter relationship down the line.
Sasha will encourage Nina to hold out for hope; she is ever the optimist, after all. However, Sasha knows how Willow really feels about Nina and that this may be a long shot. Can she help Willow see the other side of Nina that Sasha loves so much?
GH Spoilers Hint Willow Still Loathes Nina
Willow might not take kindly to Sasha buttering her up and trying to sell her a slice of Nina on rye like a used car salesman. Besides, Willow has much more important things on her mind right now than worrying about whether or not she wants to deal with Nina after she recovers. Her focus is on her own family — Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), and their baby girl — which doesn’t include Nina as far as Willow is concerned.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sasha is Sandwiched in the Middle
When Sasha ends up stuck in the middle of the war between Willow and Nina that will continue to wage on, she will only have herself and her good intentions to blame. Sasha adores Nina, but Willow thinks much of the affection she carries for her is misplaced guilt over what Sasha did to Nina years back when she first came to Port Charles.
Sasha may have never considered Nina on her own merit and whether she liked her when faced with having her as an enemy, because the only time Nina was against her, Sasha felt like she deserved it. Willow, on the other hand, has never deserved the grief Nina has put her through. Is Sasha just lying to Nina once again by feigning belief that Willow might change her mind and open her arms to her birth mom? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
