After all, she didn’t just lose a job but her reputation and friendships were affected. This was due to Tracy coercing Brook Lynn into divulging company secrets.

Brook Lynn might not even want to return to Deception. So, we will have to see how this storyline plays out. If Brook Lynn accepts the offer, it could complicate other dynamics.
