General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) loyalties are torn this week on GH! He is still in the middle by the time of the ELQ shareholders’ meeting unsure if he’s team Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) or team Aurora Media merger!
General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain And Michael Corinthos Have Not Offered The CEO Position
At the time of the shareholders’ meeting, which is being called to vote on the proposed merger with Aurora Media, Ned still doesn’t have a good offer. He had proposed an idea to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about him, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael running the new company as a team with equal power. All business decisions would be discussed and all three would need to agree to move forward on a particular situation; which Ned felt would be workable for all of them.
Michael didn’t ever get back with Ned on his suggestion, which Ned felt was equitable. Ned can tell that Michael didn’t even bother to pass it by Drew!
GH Spoilers – Drew Cain And Michael Corinthos Take Valentin Cassadine’s Ouster For Granted
Thanks to Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) huge purchase of Aurora Media stock, they believe that they can take Valentin’s ouster for granted, but yet are cautious. They have learned never to take anything for granted where Cassadines are concerned, and especially not where Valentin is concerned and his very obvious efforts to woo certain shareholders.
Valentin has also been making a concerted effort to woo Ned over to his side and has been pushing him to team up with him to save their positions. Both Ned and Valentin have felt the pressure from the Aurora side to push them aside and make the company more Aurora despite their insistence the merger will save ELQ. Michael, better than Drew who is a relative newbie Quartermaine knows that Ned always puts family first but even he begins to wonder if he will hold to that!
General Hospital Spoilers – The Fate Of Not Only The Merger, But Of ELQ Is Dependent On Ned Quartermaine
Drew and Michael come to realize that the fate of not only the ELQ/Aurora Media merger, but the fate of ELQ itself is dependent on Ned! But Ned doesn’t feel like Drew and Michael have given him much of an incentive to team up with them, and Valentin understands that both of them are in danger! There are still last minute dust-ups between Ned and Drew and Michael right up to the shareholders’ meeting and Ned hasn’t indicated which side he’s on!
Ned has questioned whether loyalty should be a two way street, and he’s not feeling it from either Drew or Michael lately; and if ELQ becomes ELQVC he’s up for it. That of course would stand for “Edward Louis Quartermaine Valentin Cassadine”; even though his mother may never forgive him!
GH Spoilers – The Vote Is Read And Many Lives Change
The shareholders’ meeting concludes and once the results are tabulated and announced, many lives will change; this will have gigantic implications on many in Port Charles. This not only will affect the Quartermaine family and Valentin, but the fate of the merger and ELQ will affect everyone, including Carly and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)!
It affects these two enemies in particular, and as a result may make Carly and Nina’s feud more intense and Drew will issue a warning to Valentin. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will get into a dustup with Nina and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) so there will be tension all around!
