General Hospital Spoilers: More Digitalis Deaths To Come, Free Flu Vaccines Tainted?
Spoilers and rumors tease there may be more digitalis deaths to come-might the free flu vaccines given at a free clinic have been tainted?
Two of the persons administering them were Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wiilson) and he gave a shot to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper)!
General Hospital Spoilers: Jordan Was Still Okay When She And Isaiah Got Locked In A Steam Room
Later, Jordan was still okay when she and Isaiah accidentally got locked in a steam room-he’d entered the women’s steam room by mistake!
They were in there for quite a while, including when the steam came on, and luckily, someone heard their yells for help. It looked like one of Jordan’s flip flops she was wearing got stuck in the door by the time the firemen came for assistance.
While it’s doubtful anyone targeted Jordan to steam her to death, it’s still the same day as the free flu clinic took place. If her flu shot was tainted with digitalis, it could take a while to affect her heart-both Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) survived several hours after exposure.
GH Spoilers: If Jordan’s Shot Had Digitalis She’s In Big Trouble
The only saving grace Jordan and others who got the shots have is that the syringes wouldn’t hold as much digitalis in with flu vaccine as Sam and Dex got in their IV bags. A flashback showed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) inject a whole syringe full of digitalis into Sam’s, and likely the same amount went in Dex’s.
But if Jordan got any amount at all she’s in big trouble-her body is compromised, and she only has the one kidney donated from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Viewers will recall he was tricked-and they all covered up the paperwork trail at GH to save Jordan’s life, after she was accidentally run into by Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathsion). He was getting a severe and blinding headache while in the parking garage, a side effect every set of twins in the memory transfer experiments got at the same time!
General Hospital Spoilers: Time Will Tell
Time will tell if Jordan suffers any ill effects from the flu shot she received, administered by Isaiah, or if any other sudden heart attacks occur among the others who received them.
If anyone does, then that will show that there’s a serial killer by syringe on the loose and not just at GH! The only reason Cyrus would have to taint the flu vaccines with digitalis would be to throw investigators off the track.
It could take quite some time to trace the sources of the vaccine and see if there were any commonalities with Sam’s and Dex’s cases. That would give Cyrus, if indeed he also dosed Dex because he was getting too close to the truth, plenty of time to disappear!
