Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had the option to sell her Deception shares to anyone, yet it was Michael who ultimately acquired them.

He has assured Maxie that he will handle those shares responsibly and prioritize Deception in all his decisions. This means that Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) dream of a united Quartermaine family may not ultimately come to fruition.

Michael is determined not to simply follow Tracy’s lead and plans to make independent choices regarding the company.

The GH writers likely had a strategy in mind when they introduced Michael into this plot-and that strategy might include Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) who’s set to debut as a recast on July 30.

Kruger Praised Gibson And Talked About Their Collaboration To TV Guide

Kruger praised Rory Gibson and discussed their collaboration in an interview with TV Guide, hinting that Serena and Michael might soon undergo a chemistry test.

If it goes well, Serena could emerge as a romantic interest for Michael-however, he might soon find himself caught in an unexpected love triangle. Rumors suggest that Serena and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may also have a chemistry test in the future.

Drew played a significant role in the downfall of Michael’s marriage to Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), so this wouldn’t be the first time they’ve competed for a love interest.

Drew With Serena Could Be Interesting, Although He Has Unresolved Drama

If the show manages to connect Drew with Serena, they could develop some fascinating feelings for one another.

Of course, Drew still has unresolved drama with Willow and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to navigate first, but it’s clear he no longer loves Willow and will need someone new to pursue eventually.

Continuing the rivalry between Drew and Michael makes sense, especially since Drew reacted strongly when Michael dismissed Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) suggestion that Drew could change if he sought help.

Drew appeared to be getting agitated, indicating that Michael may continue to be his adversary and could become a romantic competitor for Serena once Drew is back on his feet.
