General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Finds Comfort with Cody — Who Is No Better Than The General Hospital spoilers reveals Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) found herself sitting down with an unlikely ally after her heart was shattered by Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). When Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) pulled up a chair and offered to listen to Maxie air her grievances, he couldn’t help but notice the claims she was making against Austin mirrored his own actions.
As Maxie droned on about Austin blackmailing Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) by pushing him to run his Society Setups algorithm on her and Austin, Cody was taken aback by her disgust — knowing he’s no better than Austin, and did what he did for even more shallow reasons. Still, Maxie is going to appreciate Cody’s willingness to listen, and this might be the start of a friendship no one saw coming that a few take issue with.
General Hospital Spoilers — Maxie May be Done With Austin
Cody wasn’t a very good source of advice when it came to Maxie’s relationship with Austin, but he did listen and let her vent, which she is going to come to appreciate in the coming days. Maxie is a strong girl with a good head on her shoulders. She doesn’t need anyone to tell her what to do. In her own time, she’s going to figure out that her relationship with Austin has been on the decline for some time now, and she will let him go with grace. Cody just might be by her side when she does it.
GH Spoilers Hint She’s Too Angry to Forgive Spinelli Right Now
Maxie might have the luxury of cutting ties with Austin and hoping they can be friends someday, but she has to see and communicate with Spinelli on a pretty regular basis because they share a daughter together. Maxie will hold her head high, and she’s never going to be the type of mother that bad mouths her child’s father in front of her. Still, she isn’t ready to forgive Spinelli just yet. Cody might have something to do with it when she does though.
General Hospital Spoilers — Cody Comes Through
As it turns out, Cody may actually have a heart. He seems to regret the choice he made in pretending he isn’t’ Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) son — and did even before he lost Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) necklace in that fire. Cody may not get recognition for what he’s up to, but he’s going to feel obligated to help Spinelli get back on track with Maxie.
