General Hospital Spoilers: Maurice Bernard Celebrates 30 Years As Sonny, Is He Retiring Soon?
General Hospital spoilers tease that Maurice Bernard has been wowing fans for over 30 years as mob boss Sonny Corinthos. Bernard recently made a video of himself as he pulled up to the parking lot of the General Hospital studio.
As his fans know, Bernard loves to engage with his fans on social media by sending positive messages. This most recent video was no different as Bernard gushed about his time on the soap. But the caption made it clear.

Sonny’s recent storyline has led many of his fans to wonder if Sonny might be exiting the show. But Bernard shows no signs at the moment of going anywhere. His caption on his Instagram post made that clear.
“Over 30 years at the same job and still having fun,” Bernard said. “I love the people and I love the character. And of course the loyalty of the audience. #soapopera #love #joy”
GH Spoilers – Bryan Craig made a recent announcement!
Recently, it was announced that Bryan Craig would be returning to the role of Morgan Corinthos for one day this coming August. Since Morgan died several years ago, fans were worried that Morgan would show up just to escort his father to the afterlife.
Of course it’s also possible that Sonny might have a near-death experience and Morgan will convince Sonny to stick around awhile longer instead of joining him in the afterlife.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos is in trouble!
Right now, Sonny is in trouble and doesn’t even realize it. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has worked with Sonny’s pharmacist to alter Sonny’s bi-polar medication.
In effect, Sonny is only receiving about a quarter of his prescribed dosage. Sonny’s been acting more and more erratically ever since and has been isolating himself from all his loved ones.
Once it’s discovered, Sonny is going to have to work really hard to get his family back. But since Maurice seem poised to stick around, it looks like Sonny will get the redemption he deserves!
