General Hospital Spoilers: Mason’s Last Chance-Escape And Go On The Run?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) last chance might be to escape and go on the run! Mason will realize he’s got a lot of targets on his back, possibly including one from the “boss” who he disobeyed.
General Hospital Spoilers: Shot Twice, But Survived
Mason had first been told by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to kill Ava Jerome (Maura West) and he’d argued about it-he told Cyrus Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) wanted her alive.
Cyrus told Mason he was the boss, not his nephew, and so Mason kidnapped Ava and took her to the edge of a cliff-then, Cyrus changed his mind.
Something Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) told him convinced him Ava’s death was not necessary and so he called Mason and called it off.
But Mason disobeyed, and made plans to kill Ava-he was shot twice in her rescue, but survived. Now he wakes up in GH and has some decisions to make, realizing he’s got several possible targets on his back.
GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Takes Exception For One
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) takes exception to the mother of one of his daughters being kidnapped for one, and he knows it was Mason and he knows where to find him.
If Ava was the mob queen she was several years ago, she’d have been the one to push Mason off the cliff or shoot him, but she didn’t. And then there’s Cyrus himself-he might decide to have Mason offed because he knows too much and doesn’t trust him after the stunt he tried to pull.
Plus, there’s always the chance that Nikolas will return and exact revenge for even the attempt on Ava’s life, even though he might want her alive to kill her himself!
After all, you never can tell what a duplicitous Cassadine will do, and Nikolas doesn’t want Ava knowing he’s alive for a reason-although Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will surely tell her.
General Hospital Spoilers: A Lengthy Prison Sentence-No Safety There!
Mason knows even if he gave it up and wound up with a lengthy prison sentence, in Pentonville or worse, there’s no safety there-look what happened to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)!
He doesn’t trust the legal system enough to turn state’s evidence on his bosses and go into witness protection, besides he figures they’re corrupt-or Cyrus couldn’t have controlled them.
Mason knows he can’t trust Cyrus or even Austin, Austin’s too hung up on Ava and they’ve had a falling out.
The best bet Mason can think of is try to escape from the hospital before the police can arrest him, and go on the run. How far he’ll get as a fugitive though, there are no guarantees-and the distinct possibility he’ll meet with a grisly end!
