General Hospital Spoilers: Marty Caught Colluding with Ronnie, Frames Drew For The Fraud?
General Hospital spoilers leak Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) is just tickled that he’s been able to stage a coup and upend Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) entire life.
Tricking everyone into believing Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) changed her will and left her whole estate to her long-lost sister, Veronica ‘Ronnie’ Bard (Erika Slezak), Marty is sitting back and waiting on the opportunity to really enjoy his carnage.
Having Ronnie sell the Quartermaine mansion to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may seem like the best way he thought he could stick it to Tracy and all the Q’s, but the reality is, the real cherry on top of his plan may not have fully surfaced yet.
Was this all about getting back at Tracy, or is Marty setting up Drew for a major fall?
This Isn’t a Slow Burn
While GH writers are known for really dragging things out, this isn’t one of those times. Since Ronnie came into the picture, everything has been expedited.
From her arrival in town, to her inheritance, to her kicking Tracy out of the house just in time to sell it to Drew, Ronnie’s moves have been swift and seemingly calculated, for a woman who is supposedly overwhelmed with all that she has just received from her late sister.
It looks like we won’t have to wait long to find out what Marty’s real motive is here, because this is overkill if he’s just playing tit-for-tat with Tracy.
GH Spoilers Claim Ronnie Isn’t Thrilled With This
It’s quite apparent that Ronnie isn’t enjoying her time with the Quartermaine family, and she couldn’t be less interested in the estate. She made it abundantly clear to Marty that she doesn’t like any of this, and he reminded her that he has known how she has felt about it all along.
So, why then did she agree to go along with his plan? While she is less than thrilled with how Tracy has treated her, it still doesn’t seem likely that she is the only target in this operation.
Could it be that Marty convinced Ronnie to go along with this out of loyalty to her sister after all that Drew has done? When the truth unravels, will Ronnie reveal Marty’s role in this sinister plot, or will she point the finger of blame at Drew and leave everyone — including him — stunned?
Marty’s Fingerprints Are Nowhere to Be Found
Marty may have been extra cautious about the way he has managed every step of this arrangement. The day he found that letter from Ronnie at Drew’s place changed everything for him.
Since finding out Drew was behind the investigation into Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), Marty hasn’t looked too kindly upon him. While everyone has been so busy thinking Marty really outdid himself just to twist the knife in Tracy’s back, few have suspected that this scheme was actually about getting back at Drew.
