Learning from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) so-called Huntington’s Disease meds were only saline solution, Lucas is still all tore up with grief and anger!
Lucas Reveals The Truth Josslyn Told Him to Elizabeth, In Anger And Nearly In Tears
Lucas reveals the truth Josslyn told him to Elizabeth, in anger and nearly in tears, the facts hitting home that Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) had died for nothing.
The whole thing from the diagnosis to the meds must have been faked, in order to force her to work on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project, Lucas theorizes, not realizing he’s spot on.
Elizabeth has never been a Britt fan, and she still isn’t, but she lets Lucas continue to vent, and agrees that theory makes sense-why would she inject herself with saline knowingly?
Elizabeth also could tell firsthand that Britt’s fear of Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was real-and her fear that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) would be exposed as his shooter.
Of course, that refers to the first time Cullum was shot, the night he murdered Marco and tried to kill Britt and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) down at Pier 55.
Elizabeth Continues To Let Lucas Talk Out His Feelings, And Tells Him Not To Blame Himself
Elizabeth continues to let Lucas talk out his feelings and tells him not to blame himself-there is no way he could have known Britt’s diagnosis was faked any more than Marco would.
Britt certainly didn’t, but since Marco had gotten the “medicine” and Lucas gave it to her in order to reverse-engineer it, Cullum would have killed to protect the secret-and he did.
If the contents of the syringes had been properly analyzed, Cullum would have lost his leverage over Britt, and he would have been exposed much sooner.
He also wishes he could have gotten down in the catacombs and sub-basement of Wyndemere much earlier than he did-perhaps things would have been different.
If he could have found Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and reported it, perhaps Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) would never have been imprisoned there either, and Anna would be much better off.
Elizabeth Avoids Badmouthing Or Blameshifting To Britt-For The Time Being
Elizabeth avoids badmouthing or blameshifting to Britt-at least for the time being-right now Lucas doesn’t need her venting about her feelings about Britt!
Britt has other problems that need to be solved before Elizabeth has to deal with her-those kidnapping charges will definitely keep her from returning to the job she had at GH!
For now, she continues to let Lucas work out his grief for Marco, that again is fresh, after finding out the Huntington’s meds were faked.
She also asks if he needs to switch shifts with another doctor so he can recoup-but he tells her he just needs to work through it.
Be sure to catch up on everything happening with GH right now.
