General Hospital Spoilers: Liesl Could Save Willow’s Life, But She Won’t

General Hospital Spoilers suggest Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is the answer to everyone’s prayers. T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) has just delivered the amazing news that Liesl is a bone marrow donor match for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Just when much of the family was starting to make peace with the idea of losing Willow in the weeks that lie ahead, there is a strong chance she will survive this and kick cancer to the curb — with Liesl’s help.

There’s just one catch; Liesl has just been thrown for a loop and will rapidly become unpredictable and unreliable. Is her emotional and mental upset going to set the stage for Willow’s death as she unravels at the seams and refuses to save Willow’s life?

General Hospital Spoilers — Liesl is Grief Stricken!

Liesl was so adamant that she be tested as a potential match for Willow. That probably should have happened weeks ago if we’re being honest, but she was grieving the loss of her own daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) — and she still is. Liesl has just found out Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) knew Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) wasn’t The Hook killer and did nothing to clue the police into that fact — allowing them to go on searching for Esme instead of focusing on who the real killer was who came along and claimed Britt’s life.

To make matters worse, Liesl’s beau, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), defended Elizabeth to her and worked to secure an immunity deal for Elizabeth in turn for her telling the police what she knew about Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) involvement. She can’t handle much more emotional upset, which is unfortunate since more is headed her way.

GH Spoilers Tease Liesl Relishes the Chance to Stick it to Carly

Liesl is about to find out who it was that Britt saved on the night of her death. While her daughter was being sliced by The Hook and poisoned to death, Carly Spencer’s daughter, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), was spared. She walked away unscathed and went on to have a romantic interlude with her new boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

While it wasn’t Joss’ fault, and Britt chose not to seek help after being poisoned with the venom-laced hook, Liesl is looking for someone — anyone — to blame. She has to do something with this grief, and Carly and Joss are going to become her target. Liesl will pass her health screenings with flying colors, but that doesn’t mean Willow is getting that transplant — not if Liesl has the last word.

Nina will be beside herself with grief soon, much like her Aunt Liesl. Is she going to understand? Will her pleas go unanswered as Liesl sits stuck in a haze of hatred and anger? She is so blinded by her vow of revenge toward Carly and wanting to pain her, Joss, and their entire family for the benefit of hanging on to Joss, that she’s willing to rob Willow of the chance to live.
