General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Blast Anna For Letting Valentin Escape With Charlotte!
General Hospital spoilers tease that as Mayor, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) decided to put her trust in Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) when she appointed her to be the new police commissioner.
It’s a position Anna has held before, but things have changed since the last time Anna led the police force. She’s fallen madly in love with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who has recently been revealed as the head of the Pikeman Group.
She’s been working with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to stop Pikeman and bring Valentin to justice.
General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane accidentally shot Charlotte Cassadine
Laura’s granddaughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) returned to town and forgave Anna for a terrible tragedy that happened late last year.
Viewers may remember that Charlotte was vandalizing Anna’s home because she believed Anna was evil and would destroy her father. Anna came home to her darkened apartment and shot at an intruder, who turned out to be Charlotte.
Charlotte survived, but Valentin and Anna broke up because of it. Charlotte’s forgiveness is huge deal for Anna, but it also caused her to change her priorities where Valentin is concerned.
GH Spoilers – Charlotte Cassadine is Laura Collins’ Granddaughter
Laura knew that the shooting was an accident, and that’s when she asked Anna to return to police commissioner position. Laura has no idea that Valentin is the head of a criminal organization or even that she own granddaughter has returned to Port Charles after attending school abroad.
Meanwhile, Anna has discovered incriminating evidence against Valentin but in a last minute reversal, she told Valentin the FBI was coming after him and to flee the country… with Charlotte.
General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins won’t be happy with Anna Devane
Once Laura gets wind that Charlotte was back in town, although briefly, and that she’s now forced to a life on the run with Valentin; she won’t be happy most likely.
Anna will argue that Charlotte needs her father since her mother, Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan) is in a coma and may never wake up.
But Laura won’t think a life on the run is any kind of life for a teenage girl, and that Valentin’s criminal acts make him a terrible role model. Anna could even find herself unemployed if Laura is angry enough to remove her from the commissioner position.

Dislike to say this about Laura, but she can see the wrong in Anna allowing Valentine to escape but can’t rationalize the problem with trying to aid Heather in getting another chance at life after all of her previous crimes. WOW!!

Valentine didn’t have cobalt poisoning or anything else affecting his brain, and causing his criminal behavior. He knew exactly what he was doing.
