Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) is in for the shock of her life. Girlfriend has worked extra hard to convince Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), the only person that she thinks knows her latest secret, to keep his mouth shut, and in the end, it’s not even going to matter.
Kristina cut the brakes on Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) car, nearly killing him and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), by mistake. Ava Jerome was her true target, but Ric’s car just so happened to be in her official parking spot, so he ended up as Kristina’s victim.

The night of the accident, Lucky was there when Kristina found the car and, in a panic, confided in him about what she had done and how she had never meant to hurt anyone other than Ava.
Lucky tried to talk her into confessing, or at least telling her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), so that they could work out a plea deal. Of course, Kristina can’t be willingly held accountable for anything, and played Lucky (who should know better) like a fiddle.
She convinced him that sending her off to jail would cause her already suffering family way too much pain.
It’s true, they have already suffered unbearable losses this past year, but that shouldn’t be an excuse for Kristina to get away with a few counts of attempted murder.
Still, Lucky rationalized that since Liz was going to make it, then Kristina having to live with herself was punishment enough.
General Hospital Spoilers: Diane Talked Sense Into Alexis
Ava has parking garage footage that proves that Kristina tampered with Ric’s car, and she brought it to Alexis to try to cut a deal. Surely, Alexis would pay for the footage in order to keep Kristina out of jail, she always bails her out.
Over the years, Alexis has proven to be Kristina’s biggest enabler, but not this time. This time, she went to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) in a panic, and instead of helping Alexis to bury this situation, she suggested getting Kristina the help that she needs.
Diane suggested that Alexis have Kristina court-committed to Fern Cliff because she is escalating in her behavior, and desperately needs help.
It is also the only way that her sister, Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos), may ever forgive Kristina for almost killing her father. After some soul-searching, Alexis told Diane to draw up the commitment papers.

Poor Kristina is in for the shock of her life when she finds out that garage footage exists and that she is actually on the hook for three attempted murder charges. Being hauled off to Fern Cliff is also not on her Bingo card, but look for Kristina to feel the ultimate betrayal when she realizes that it is her mother who put her there.
Kristina fully expects Alexis to legally save her from every situation and then hold her hand through every unbearable emotion that comes from her bad decisions. This time around, Kristina is going to have to face herself and her actions on her own.
