General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest some major plot twists on the horizon in the land of Port Charles. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) recently brought Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) into the loop about the video he had, which incriminates Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). All in hopes she’d use it to save herself from going to prison because of insider trading charges.
The feds want information on the mob boss, but Carly refuses to throw her ex under the bus. If Ms. Spencer faces jail time, could Sonny throw himself under the bus to save her?

GH spoilers hint that Carly giving up Sonny may be the only way she can save herself from going to jail. After all, her lawyer, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) recently informed Carly that if she could get some information on her ex-hubby, she may be able to cut a deal with SEC.
There’s obviously still love between CarSon, which is why they are so fiercely protective of each other. The last thing Sonny wants to see is the mother of his children sent to prison. Especially since Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) is so young and still needs her mom. Will Sonny sacrifice all to ensure Carly doesn’t go to jail? Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) would be beside herself if this happens. After all, she was the one who pushed the button with all this nonsense.
GH Spoilers: Sonny Finds Out About The “Evidence” Michael Has
Sonny may find out about the tape by accident, or Michael could bring it to his attention. Either way, Corinthos will reach out to Diane and see if there’s a way that he can cut a deal with the feds; he hands in the tape, implicates himself for prison time, and Carly gets off, scot-free.
Will Sonny be upset at Michael for setting him up? He may have mixed feelings about it all. On the one hand, it’ll be devastating to learn that his son went to extreme lengths to bring him down. On the other hand, the tape will be enough for the feds to nail him and exonerate Carly of all charges.
