It looks like things are progressing in the right direction. General Hospital star Kirsten Storms, who is best known for her role as Maxie Jones on the hit ABC soap, recently gave an update on her medical condition. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Kirsten Storms Gives An Update On Her Medical Condition
As many GH fans are aware of, Kirsten has taken a break from the daytime television world to focus on her health. She also moved from Los Angeles to Nashville, where she is currently raising her daughter, Harper.
Sharing a photo of herself on her Instagram page, the actress started things off by showing off a cute cardigan that she made herself. She also explained that even though she’s lived in both Florida and California her entire life, she still likes to dress for cold weather.
That said, Kirsten didn’t waste any time in letting her fans and followers know where she is right now in her health battle.
The actress wrote, “My last appointment was with a new Neurosurgeon in St Louis. He told me that I am in the “gray zone” for the aneurysm procedure. It’s not super small, but it’s not at the mandatory size.”
What’s Next For Kirsten Storms?
She also added, “Trying to see if I’m comfortable with the “wait and see if it gets worse” plan. I do know that I am not eager to hop right on the operating table. (Plz refer to my post in 2021, following my craniotomy. The pic of the back of my head will *possibly* convey why this topic is a little difficult for me to openly discuss.”
If that weren’t enough, Kirsten also added that there was a possibility that fans might see her back in Port Charles sooner rather than later. That’s certainly good news, right?
Kirsten didn’t give a date or say when it will happen, but that didn’t stop fans from crossing their fingers and hoping that they’ll see Maxie Jones back in action for the new year. Watch this space for more.
