Britt’s Relationship With Rocco Has Brought Memories Back
For instance, Britt’s connection with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), whom she referred to as “Ben,” has brought back some memories from the original plot.
It has been more than a decade since the revelation of Britt’s deceit, and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) along with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were reunited with their son.
In the weeks leading up to Kelly Thiebaud’s return as Britt Westbourne, the writers were gearing up to explore her relationship with Rocco again.
What initially was meant to be Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) getting revenge on Lulu evolved into something much deeper. Ben, now called Rocco, is a teenager wanting to explore a relationship with his birth mother via surrogacy.
Kelly Spoke With Soap Opera Digest About The Embryo Storyline And Tyler Christopher
During a conversation with Soap Opera Digest, Thiebaud reminisced about the plot that made her famous over ten years ago.
She shared her struggles throughout that storyline, which included giving birth on the floor of Wyndemere; for most of his first year, Britt raised the baby boy she named Ben.
Thiebaud also reflected on her experiences with the late Tyler Christopher, who portrayed Nikolas Cassadine as the story unfolded. Britt and Nikolas were set to marry, but the revelation that Ben was actually Lulu’s and Dante’s son emerged during their engagement party.
She remarked, “Tyler Christopher was so incredible, just on a regular basis, but in those particular scenes, he was so good;” Thiebaud added that it was “such a good memory for me.”
What’s Ahead For Britt Westbourne On The Show?
There are numerous questions regarding her unexpected return to life in Port Charles. Britt has been banished by her mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and is currently residing in Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) room above Bobbie’s.
There isn’t much for her in Port Charles, and with the escalating tension between her and Lulu, the situation is set to become even more intense.
