Curtis And Sidwell Brutally Attacked
Both Sidwell and Curtis are in the hospital after a brutal beating-someone had told Curtis not to be in his Pentonville Prison cell at lunchtime, and Sidwell is his cellmate.
When Curtis decided to return to his cell after all, he walked in on three thugs-one of them who’d given him the warning-beating Sidwell mercilessly! He intervened, when he saw one of them pull out a shiv, but it seems he may have gotten the worst of it.
Curtis will be in the intensive care unit when Jordan rushes to General Hospital after getting the news of the prison beating, and that’s when Curtis will tell her what happened. And it just doesn’t make sense to her at all-there has to be a reason for Sidwell refusing protection!
Jordan And Curtis Smell A Setup
Jordan and Curtis both smell a setup, especially when Sidwell makes a big deal about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) having henchmen running the prison-he’s really pushing the envelope.
He’s sure it’s Sonny’s revenge for taking his piers but that makes no sense at all-Sonny sold them to him, even though he plans to try and get them back.
Not to mention that everyone knows it’s easier to escape from a hospital than it is a prison, even though they question where Sidwell would go? His assets have been seized and his properties up for auction-even the place he bought for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Marco Rios, (Adrian Anchondo), had he lived.
Sidwell’s Real Endgame Exposed?
Curtis and Jordan decide that has to be it-Sidwell may have set up his own beating, as crazy as that seems, to frame Sonny and form a plan to escape from the hospital.
Jordan decides right then and there that they need extra security from the PCPD at the hospital, and she calls Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to advise of their theory.
It’s one of those theories that doesn’t make sense just enough to actually make sense if you pick it apart enough.
It’s bizarre, but why else would Sidwell refuse to get protective custody in the prison? Curtis mentioned it would be in solitary but was what happened to him better than that?
