‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: John Oliver’s Debut, Carly Cornered, Liesl Completes Cold Fusion

General Hospital spoilers confirm that the weekly promo for June 29-July 3 has been released. Fans can expect to see John Oliver debut on the ABC soap, while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is cornered.

Plus, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) completes the cold fusion project. It’s about to get crazy in the land of Port Charles, so let’s unpack all the drama.

Ross Cullum Corners Carly Spencer

General Hospital’s preview for the week of July 29 starts with a clip of Carly walking into Wyndemere.

Carly can be heard over the voiceover saying, “I’ve got to get Josslyn [Jacks – Eden McCoy] out of Wyndemere right now!”

After this is said, Carly is shown in the living room at Wyndemere, as she’s about to walk through a door, but is stopped by a WSB henchman.

WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) then comes face-to-face with Carly as he flashes a dastardly grin.

Liesl Obrecht Has Completed Her Task

As the scenes shift, Liesl is in the Wyndemere prison cell talking with Joss.

She notes to the blonde that her work is done, and she’s completed the prototype.

Liesl looks sad as she says this, while Josslyn appears to be freaking out on the inside. Will someone stop Cullum?

Cassius Faison Busted?

As the General Hospital promo for the week of June 29-July 3 continues, Cassius Faison, aka “Fake Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey), is walking out of a building with James West (Gary James Fuller).

It looks like the two will check out the batting cages, as “Nathan” had promised the little boy.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is standing nearby in the parking lot, and he appears very concerned upon seeing Nathan with James.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is heard in the voiceover saying, “Nathan isn’t who he says he is.”

John Oliver’s Appearance

As scenes shift in the General Hospital promo, HBO’s “Last Week Tonight” host John Oliver appears walking across the parking lot.

He’s with two men, dressed in all black, wearing bulletproof protective gear, carrying guns.

A black helicopter appears in the background, and Oliver, along with the two men, is clearly on a hunt for someone.

As the video wraps up, there’s a close-up of Oliver’s face, looking sternly into the camera.

Oliver announced the news of his GH appearance on his talk show during the June 28 episode.

From the sounds of it, Oliver’s character will play a major role in how things unravel this week. He’s slated to debut on Thursday, July 2.
