General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal that many fans of the ABC soap don’t like how the character of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been changed recently.
It’s as if Stone Cold suddenly turned into Syrupy Sweet and many fans are losing interest, or wondering if he was brainwashed in Jakarta!
From Exciting To Boring, Fans Are Falling Asleep In Front Of The TV!
Even Steve Burton has said that the changes to the character of Jason Morgan, nicknamed “Stone Cold” would be something many fans wouldn’t like. And it’s not just Jason they don’t like being changed-Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) left the mob, and they’re sure he’ll be boring now too.
In these fans’ opinions, there is nothing exciting about a single father trying to corral a mischievous teenage boy, and returning to a girlfriend with platonic vibes.
Jason flew halfway around the world after seeing Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in an airport overseas a couple of years ago. And now he returns to her and there’s no passion, some fans have described their reunion like watching a guy kiss his sister!
Some Fans Fear The ABC Soap Will Never Be The Same
Some fans have expressed their fears on social media that the ABC soap will never be the same without the mob drama, and without Jason the hitman riding to the rescue!
Jason Morgan has been a popular antihero figure for daytime drama viewers for many years now, and to see him quit working for Sonny-even in Sonny’s legitimate business-is a shock!
Jason doesn’t even own a motorcycle anymore that anyone can tell-and now he’s accepted most of his Quartermaine family; what’s up with that?
Playing for ELQ in a baseball game is one thing, but who can even imagine Jason in a board meeting-although he does own a suit or two. He even made overtures to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to try to make peace, although Drew didn’t bite.

A goody two shoes Jason is a buzzkill, to say the least-and what a waste of marksmanship talent; Stone Cold never missed, and now the Pine Barrens won’t have any more “residents”.
Jason has been one of the most popular characters, along with Sonny, and now there’s no Jason and Sonny-they’re totally separated.
One question to consider is if fans will quit watching, although there’s always the possibility Sonny and Jason may find themselves forced to return to mob action.
Even though there are no longer Five Families to worry about and Selina Wu, (Lydia Look) who banded with Sonny is long gone, the mob is very hard to quit.
There’s always someone looking to cash in on a mob boss’s exit, and even more so if he has no enforcer!
