General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Kidnapped – Will He Be the Same Man When He Returns in July?

General Hospital spoilers suggest Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) leaving Port Charles for a few months isn’t going to be on the heels of yet another “death.” Shew, we can all breathe a sigh of relief.

But just because Jason isn’t being killed off, and just because we know he’ll be back on-screen in July, doesn’t mean it’s not going to be a major blow to our afternoons for him to be missing in action.

Instead, a leak has spilled out claiming that Jason is going to be kidnapped. Sound familiar? Will this happen in Port Charles, or while he’s in France playing hero to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)?

Anna’s Theory Grows Plausibility

As long as Anna is being held in France due to pending charges against her, she won’t be of much help to anyone back home.

That is going to matter a lot more if Jason suddenly goes missing in a similar fashion that she did. Of course, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and his cronies will have their work cut out for them in trying to subdue and catch this guy off guard, but it sounds like they’re going to be able to pull it off.

With Jason disappearing, will everyone else start to think Anna’s theory about Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) being alive could be true?

A Surprise Twist is in the Works

Jason’s absence means he and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) romance will be moved to the side. But a recent leak hints that we won’t be too preoccupied with missing their chemistry when we find out who is behind Jason’s kidnapping. That’s right.

It’s actually rumored to be someone else — not Sidwell or WSB Agent Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). This claim still leaves room for it to be someone close to them, like Pascal (Marc Forget) or Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).

But the strongest theory is that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is alive and comes home to seek vengeance on the man who killed his father.

Jason’s Return Brings New Threats

A kidnapping could mean Jason is going to suffer a similar fate to Anna, being kept against his will in some sort of contained environment where he is mentally twisted into a pretzel.

Anyone who thinks it can’t possibly have an effect on Stone Cold probably isn’t aware of the kinds of things Anna has endured over the years. While we’re used to Jason being stoic and strong no matter what he’s up against, it sure would be interesting to see something threaten to break him.
