General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Has Been Cyrus’ Target All Along
General Hospital spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has a very long memory. Before he went to prison and found religion, Cyrus was a drug dealing member of the mafia.
He wanted Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) territory and was willing to do anything to get it. He planned to kill Jason with the help of Julian Jerome (William DeVry) when he forced Julian to leave a bomb at the Floating Rib.
The bomb did go off and killed several people as well as left Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans) in a coma for four years.
General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault claims to have found religion
Cyrus blackmailed Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) to help him get released from prison, all the while claiming that he had found religion and was a changed man.
He had been hovering over Lulu’s while she was in a coma until Laura Collins (Genie Francis) finally put a stop to it.
Not long after that, Cyrus murdered Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) by injecting digitalis into her IV bag. He apparently also killed Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) when Dex wanted to know why Cyrus was at the hospital the day Sam died.
GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault wants revenge on Jason Morgan
Cyrus’ motives for killing Sam remain unclear, but it’s becoming more likely that she died because of the love she once shared with Jason.
It may not be a coincidence that he is also framing Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) for Sam and Dex’s deaths, as she and Jason also share a fairly strong bond.
Dex most likely just got in the way when he started putting the pieces together and would have eventually figured out that Cyrus murdered Sam.
General Hospital Spoilers – Who Will Cyrus Renault target next
If Cyrus really is killing people that Jason loves, there are plenty of future targets he could choose. One of those would be Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), the son Jason and Sam share.
Jason also has a son with Elizabeth, but Jake Webber (Hudson West) is currently unreachable because he’s studying abroad.
But there is someone else who Jason thinks of as almost a son of his own and that is Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
General Hospital fans know that Duell is leaving the soap in early 2025 so there is a very good possibility that Michael could become Cyrus’ final victim in his quest to get revenge on Jason.
