General Hospital Spoilers: Jason and Britt Grow Closer — But Carly’s Melodrama Could Drive a Wedge, Again

General Hospital spoilers gossip Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been trying to figure out how to get Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to trust him again ever since he laid eyes on her at the Five Poppies.

This is no small feat after the way things crashed and burned between them before his untimely “death” in 2021. Nevermind that Britt later “died” too and kept her living, breathing status under wraps from everyone who cared about her.

She’s still angry about the way she grieved over Jason’s death, and that she had to do so feeling like he chose someone else over her. That’s really what this is about: Jason’s undying loyalty and devotion to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Although Jason and Carly haven’t been nearly as tethered together as of late, we know he’s always going to be there for her — and that just burns Britt’s biscuits.

Are we looking at a rinse and repeat of the last time Jason broke Britt’s heart by making her feel like she always comes second to another more important woman in his life?

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Could Steal the Show

Unfortunately for Britt, some things never change. Carly has already been getting a little bit territorial, and Britt just isn’t in the mood to set her life back up on Memory Lane.

So, she’s kept her distance from Jason, and is guarding her heart from falling for him all over again.

Quick question: Does she really have a choice? The way I see it, Britt is careening toward a romance with Jason all over again, and Carly is gearing up to ignite a firestorm of drama and danger as she plots her attack on Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). Will her self-inflicted dumpster fire draw Jason’s attention away from a reunion with Britt?

GH Spoilers Leak Jack Presents Real Danger

It would be different if this was a more minor issue that Carly was capable of taking care of herself. But she has already taken the disastrous situation she was in and poured gasoline all over it by skipping off to Switzerland to conspire with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) against the man she says she loves.

If Jack wasn’t enough of a threat to Carly’s safety, Valentin ups the ante. Jason isn’t going to like this one bit, and Britt — being run by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) — might know more about what both of them are up to than she’s been letting on. Will she clue Jason in on just how deep Carly is steeped in danger this time?

General Hospital Spoilers — Britt Could Turn the Tide

Sure, Britt could get jealous and stomp off to her own private corner, insisting she’s above this and won’t play second fiddle to Carly’s dramatics.

But if she’s a bit more strategic, she could turn Carly’s plight into her own personal playground, using her antics to insert herself and become a hero right alongside Jason.

Just like Britt stepped in and saved Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) life when Heather Webber (Alley Mills) tried to hook her, maybe she’ll step in to assist Jason when she sees that Carly is ensnared in Jack’s web of deceit.

If Britt has grown up enough to recognize how important Carly is to Jason, instead of competing with her, she might help him protect her.

Wouldn’t that turn the tables? What could Carly possibly say then about Jason giving Britt another chance? November Sweeps is just gearing up; you’re not going to want to miss this! Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
