Before the accident, Jordan was read the riot act by her boss, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Jenz is a vile, evil man who doesn’t hesitate to kill those who displease him—for example, another one of his employees, Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard).

Jordan’s “Accident”
First of all, Jenz has another car caper under his belt—planting Dalton’s corpse in Mayor Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) trunk. That was a strategic move and now he has Laura under his blackmailing thumb.
Who’s to say he didn’t try to do the same with Jordan?
Before the accident, Jenz made it clear that he’s not pleased with Jordan. He wants her to find proof that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) killed his son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo). For once Sonny is innocent, but Jenz doesn’t know that.
Did Jenz Harm Jordan?
Jenz got in Jordan’s face and threatened that he would take all she has if she doesn’t come through for him. Before that she tried to argue that she doesn’t think Sonny is behind the murder, but Jenz doesn’t take no for an answer.
He’s so precise that he was able to plant Dalton’s corpse in Laura’s car, take pics, and arrange for the car to break down where he wanted it to.
Will Jordan Make It?
Jenz is grieving and not in his right mind, he has vengeance on the brain. Maybe he thought twice about Jordan’s usefulness after their convo and decided to get rid of her.
He threatened to take everything away from her, and perhaps his overactive brain decided to take her life as well. This is the man who kept Lucky Spencer alive so he could beat him at poker—he’s not like you and me, he’s a monster.
Jenz is a Monster
Adding to the mystery of Jordan’s crash is the fact that multiple people were on the road at roughly the same time, meaning that the show is playing it coy with this whodunit. In other words, the cause of Jordan’s crash is not cut and dry despite it looking like an accident.
