General Hospital Spoilers: Is Peter Alive And Holding Anna Captive, And Could He Have Shot Drew?
General Hospital spoilers tease while we continue to mull over all the options of people who could be holding Anna Devaen (Finola Hughes) captive, one name keeps coming to mind: Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Moreover, if Peter is alive, then could he have been the malicious attempted murderer who shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)? Anna knows she’s not in good hands, but she has yet to figure out who is her captor, even though she is examining all the usual suspects while being monitored 24/7 by whomever is holding her in a cell that looks more like a college dorm room.
It’s unlikely that Anna has connected this event to anything but herself at the moment, but sometimes tells me her capture has a whole lot to do with what is going on at home in her absence. Is it possible that Anna is worried about the wrong guy?
Anna is Scared Straight
Ever since Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) first careened into town via crashing his truck, Anna has wondered whether Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) might not be as gone as she thought he was.
How could his son have survived the last seven years without any recognition of where he has been? How is Faison’s daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), still alive and kicking after dying in her mother’s arms years ago? It just screams of the kind of sinister and mind-bending tactics that only Faison was able to pull off. Anna, we hear you.
GH Spoilers Leak Peter Had It Out for Drew
Still, recall that Peter really really hated Drew. The former Navy SEAL had way too much dirt on Peter that he could have exposed and brought his charade down in one fell swoop. Peter just couldn’t risk that; so Drew always had a target on his back, whether he knew it or not.
Just because Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) took a tire iron to the guy in 2022, that doesn’t mean he isn’t about to walk back into everyone’s lives, full storm.
It would be just like him, as the son of Faison — joining his brother and sister, and it might be just like him to make sure Drew is out of the way before he re-enters Port Charles society.
Examining the Evidence
So far, all we know is that Anna is being kept against her will in a small room where she is delivered everything “they” think she needs. Most recently, the disturbing book they gave her shed some light on the question and left her considerably startled.
The P.K. Sinclair novel plastered with her face on the cover and inscribed and signed by “C” rendered Anna practically speechless.
She is horrified at the thought that Faison survived and what that might mean for her, but I can’t help but wonder what that also means for the rest of Port Charles — including the Congressman on everyone’s hit list.
With Faison’s brain in a jar, the odds of this return being Peter are getting more likely every day. Will someone like Willow Corinthos (Katleyn MacMullen) be put away for the crime of trying to kill Drew before anyone is any the wiser?
