General Hospital Spoilers: Is GH In Trouble After Experiencing Huge Losses?
General Hospital spoilers reveal that when it comes to soap, stars and actors come and go. However, certain actors have been around for years and you just don’t count on those leaving very often.
General Hospital has seen a lot of that swinging door lately and the problem is the direction it is swings seems to be going.
Several General Hospital Actors Have Left
General Hospital spoilers indicate that fans are really beginning to worry about the future of the show since there has been so much of a turnover lately.
General Hospital is the only remaining soap on ABC and has been for years. GH is the second running soap, second to the long ago cancelled As The World Turns.
Kelly Monaco, who played Sam McCall for over 21 years, was recently let go from the ABC soap. Sam died of a heart attack after donating part of her liver to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins).
Monaco is not the only long term actor to exit the show either. Chad Duell recently announced his exit as Michael Corinthos, as role he has played for the last 14 years.
Also exiting this fall was Emma Samms (Holly Sutton), who never sticks around for very long. However, fans did not expect Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to join her and take off to once again try to achieve their happily ever after.
General Hospital Spoiler: Fans Had Issues With One Character’s Return
Some actors left the show earlier this year as well. Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Spencer Cassadine) left earlier this year along with Avery Kristen Pohl (Esme Prince).
Fans have been expecting at least one of them to return for months only to have neither one reappear. Chavez leaving broke up the popular pairing of Sprina.
Fans have not liked some of the characters returns either. Some fans are absolutely furious that Lulu has returned and that Sam death resulted in her return.
Lulu’s recovery is beyond ridiculous because people don’t wake up from a coma and take off from the hospital after being comatose for years. Jonathan Jackson’s return as Lucky Spencer seems quite useless as well since he is planning to take off once again.
The network runs the risk of alienating fans by making all of these changes, especially those that fans do not like. Some fans like what is happening and are now hoping that Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) might return.
