General Hospital Spoilers: Is Dex on His Way to Becoming a Dirty Cop — And If So, Could He Lose Joss?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has earned his stripes over the last year of attempting to clean up his act and be good enough for Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy). Nothing seemed to matter to him more when he signed up for the police academy intent on becoming a cop even if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) killed him for it.

That should redeem him, right? While he may have gained back his girlfriend, that doesn’t mean she should completely let her guard down. With the current legal situation brewing around Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), it’s possible that Dex may end up being the only person who can help them clear their names — even though Sonny is totally guilty. But why would he, and will he lose Joss because of it?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny is as Good as His Word

Dex is off the hook now. He should be relieved that Sonny is not interested in taking him out. The guy gave him his word that they could go in their separate directions and leave one another alone.

That is, as long as Dex stays out of Sonny’s way, Sonny will keep his fists out of Dex’s face. But it seems that this young rookie cop just might be a glutton for punishment. If he’s being honest with himself, he did enjoy working for Sonny, and it hurt him when he got kicked to the curb.

That rejection may have stuck with him and he just doesn’t voice it much because Joss certainly doesn’t want to hear it.

GH Spoilers Hint Dex Spies an In

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) shocked Joss when he sided with Team CarSon and said he doesn’t care that FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) is dead.

Joss really thought her big brother would see things from her point of view. But he doesn’t seem all that concerned about their mom right now.

Should that change and Michael grows worried that Carly could face prison time for the crime his father committed, he just might lean on Dex to come back into the fold and pitch in to keep Carly safe. But Joss would never go for that, right?

General Hospital Spoilers — Two Wrongs Don’t Make a Right

It may be of primary concern to Joss right now that her mom has made yet another horrible decision to back a career criminal, but that doesn’t mean she wants all that Dex has worked for to go to waste just to relieve her anxiety over her mom.

Carly is a grown woman and can make her own decisions. She said so herself. Joss just might be mature enough to accept that and know that even if she loses her mom, it’s not worth Dex jeopardizing losing himself — or potentially their relationship with one another.

Of course, that’s assuming he gives her any say in the matter. We figure it’s far more likely he’ll work with Michael behind Joss’ back again to save Carly.

He might think he’s doing it for the mother-daughter duo, but some part of him also wants to redeem himself with Sonny.

What will become of his career as a boy in blue though? And will Joss give him a pass if she finds out since he ended up pitching in to spare her mom? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
