General Hospital Spoilers: Is Ava Doomed To Die? Popular Character Written Into A Corner?
General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) had a pretty good life until recent months. Newly divorced from Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss), Ava sold Wyndemere and seemed ready to start a brand new chapter.
Ava still had her gallery and good friends in Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). But then someone seemed to be threatening her life, as well as framing her for Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murder.
Since they share a daughter, Sonny offered to let her move into his penthouse.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome wanted to be Sonny Corinthos’ only ally!
For some reason, Ava decided to use Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return to start turning all of Sonny’s friends and family against him.
She even ruined her friendship with Nina in order to be Sonny’s sole ear. She didn’t really accomplish much except that Sonny liked her a little more and their daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) had both parents under the same roof.
But things took a turn when Ava discovered that someone had tampered with Sonny’s bi-polar medication so that he was only receiving about a quarter of his prescribed dosage.

But Ava didn’t tell Sonny what she discovered. Instead, she continued to manipulate him. But then everything changed. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) discovered that Ava was responsible for her losing her law license a few years back.
Sonny was furious with Ava and kicked her out, also threatening to file for sole custody of Avery. Then she leaked a conversation to the Invader with Natalia Ramirez (Eva Larue) outing Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez).
She also contacted Sonny’s pharmacies and had him alter Sonny’s medication even further so that all he’s receiving now are placebos.
General Hospital Spoilers – Is Ava Jerome being written out of General Hospital?
Given everything Ava has done in recent weeks, it seems as though she’s being written into a corner that could only lead to a prison stint, or even her death.
Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that Ava’s murder of Connie Falconeri (last played by Megan Ward) has been mentioned many times in the past few weeks. Fans are worried that Ava is about to be written out which would be a shame since Maura West is such a powerhouse actor!
