General Hospital Spoilers: Hudson Makes His Move On Brook Lynn – New Romance After Chase Split?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that a bereft Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is feeling heartbroken, alone, and vulnerable.
Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) literally saw Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) breakup, and he’ll plot to swoop in for the prize!
Hudson May Or May Not Be Phoebe’s Birth Father
Hudson may or may not be Phoebe Chase’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) birth father, but if he’s not, he could definitely be a relative, considering how he’s trying to hard to be close to her.
If he actually is the birth father, then it’s a Jake Doe (Billy Miller) situation where Hudson lived in Port Charles before, under another name-and likely with a different face.
Otherwise, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) wouldn’t have been able to find the old evidence box in the PCPD and swipe DNA of someone he KNEW was Phoebe’s birth father so he could do the paperwork.
Hudson could be a close relative as well-and considering he’s from Australia and Ethan grew up there too, they likely knew each other in the past.
But Hudson, whether for himself or for a close relative, is not just staying in Port Charles for business-he’s staying for Phoebe!
Hudson Becomes A Too Friendly Friend To Brook Lynn
Hudson will likely take advantage of Brook Lynn’s bereft, lonely state to become a close friend to her-and perhaps even the kind of close friend who could become more.
Of course, Brook Lynn isn’t one to just switch romantic gears and jump from Chase to anyone else, but depending on how quickly this goes from breakup to divorce, she could become attached to Hudson.
Hudson seems pressured enough to not play a long game, namely, romancing Brook Lynn to stake a claim as a eventual stepfather, but he’s got other tactics. Even though he’s pushing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to run her father’s company from Australia, it benefits him to stay around Port Charles.
His pressure to Josslyn to move is probably just a reverse psychology tactic to give him an excuse to stay right where he is!
Hudson Could Be A Close Relative To Phoebe Without Being Her Father-And To Josslyn As Well!
There’s been lots of guesses made recently to just how Hudson could be connected to Phoebe, and as well as to Port Charles-since he is from Australia, it’s possible he’s Josslyn’s half-brother.
However, that would entail him being a lot older than Josslyn, if Jax’s first wife had been his mother-but, he could be her cousin, and Phoebe’s much older brother.
Jerry Jacks (most recently Sebastian Roché) would certainly have a record in the PCPD and DNA, and could have a son no one knew about!
