General Hospital Spoilers: Gio’s Identity Crisis, Overhears The Truth-Will He Rebel Against The Cerullos?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will have an identity crisis when he potentially hears the truth about his parentage and adoption.
Gio, who’s considered himself a Cerullo relative-which he still is, on his birth mother’s side, might rebel against the Cerullos for keeping his true parentage from him!
Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase Doesn’t Know Her Child Is Gio, But Inevitably, She Will
His birth mother, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) is still reeling from the truth that was kept from her when her baby boy was born, she was only a teenager.
She was very upset with her mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and her grandmother, Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) when she found out the baby was a boy. She was never told the sex of her baby and now, when she and her husband Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) found out he’s sterile, it was more important to her.
Brook Lynn still doesn’t know her and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) son is Gio, and he’s living there on the Quartermaine property with them all. Dante doesn’t even know that she had been pregnant, just that she left camp early, leaving him with his first major crush heartbroken.
Lulu Found Out And Is Holding The Secret, But She Won’t Hold It Forever
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) found out the secret while looking for something else in her uncle Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) Metro Court suite. She was trying to find out the location of Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) who still had their daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) at the time.
Instead, she found the paperwork that Lois had just met with Martin about, wanting to make sure anything about the adoption and Brook Lynn’s teenage pregnancy was sealed.
The paperwork showed Dante was the father and Brook Lynn was the mother, and the adoption was arranged for by Lois and Gloria, not an agency like Brook Lynn was told! She was under sedation when her baby was born and had never even got to hold him or find out she’d had a boy; but Lulu won’t hold the secret forever.
The Secret Blows Up And Gio Overhears Something He Shouldn’t
Chances are, Lulu will tell Dante sooner or later, she’s already threatened to if Brook Lynn doesn’t-she even quit her job at Deception Cosmetics over the secret.
Since Dante lives at the Quartermaine’s, and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) goes back and forth between there and Lulu’s, chances are Lulu tells him there. Even if they try to keep their conversation private, the walls there have more ears than a cornfield and someone might overhear.
This won’t be the time when Gio finds out because Lulu doesn’t yet know Gio is Dante’s son, so she can’t tell him that much. However, with Lois back, and Dante’s mother Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) living there too, it will likely be Dante who starts the ball rolling!
Dante Tells Olivia, And They Confront Lois, And Olivia And Dante Learn It’s Gio?
Lois and Gloria will catch the most of the flak from Brook Lynn, Olivia and Dante after Olivia, Dante and probably Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) do some deep dive investigation.
Martin didn’t get a chance to seal the records before Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) got him shipped off to California! Olivia and Dante may confront Lois over this long-held secret as Brook Lynn also finds out her son is Gio.
As they’re in the midst of the confrontation is likely when Gio will enter, mind blown, and he’ll have an identity crisis! And Lois and Gloria and the rest of the Cerullos, except Brook Lynn because Gio will know she was lied to as well, will now witness Gio’s rebellion against them!
