General Hospital Spoilers: GH Alum William DeVry Appears In New Hallmark Movie
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease William DeVry, formerly Julian Jerome, appears in a new Hallmark movie called “Whitewater Romance”. The movie will air Saturday, May 8 at 8:00 pm on the Hallmark Channel.
General Hospital Spoilers: William DeVry’s Last Two Soap Characters Died
DeVry’s fans can be thankful that their fave isn’t getting killed off any of his TV movies, he was in a previous Lifetime channel holiday movie in 2023, called “Christmas At The Chalet”.
It doesn’t sound like William has had a lot of super good luck as soap opera characters, Julian was shot in a struggle with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
They both fell through a bridge they were struggling with each other on and Julian drowned, Sonny wound up in Nixon Falls.
Prior to that, William played Storm Logan on the CBS soap The Bold And The Beautiful. Storm shot himself in the head so his heart could be used for his youngest sister, Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) transplant-no wonder he’s made a change to Hallmark and Lifetime movies!
GH Spoilers: William DeVry Plays Jim Burdett
William plays Jim Burdett, who works at the retreat venue in the Rocky Mountains, where obviously one of the group activities is whitewater rafting.
A photo on the Hallmark Channel site from the movie shows him in a large raft with oars, suited up in rafting gear with several others including the other stars of the movie. Hallmark Channel network faves Cindy Busby and Benjamin Hollingsworth play Maya and Matt, respectively.
One of the halves of the movie’s couple is urged to let their heart be their compass, and at first they don’t like each other. Maya arrives for an exclusive business retreat, and Matt, at first, is her competitor in a raft race, and they then are forced to team up.
General Hospital Spoilers: A Connection Forms
Matt and Maya’s unlikely connection forms and turns into much, much more as the couple fall in love. Cindy Busby aka Maya played in the show “Heartland” for several years as Ashley, and talked about that and “Whitewater Romance” and a variety of other subjects.
In a sneak peek video of the movie, DeVry’s character, Jim Burdett directs Maya, saying “If you take this way, it could be towards the greatest adventure of your life.”
Again, the film debuts on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, May 8 at 8:00 pm and if you’re a mountains lover, the scenery in the scenes is breathtaking!
It promises to be an enjoyable romance movie in a beautiful nature setting with the gorgeous mountains in the background of the shots.
