General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of July 27-31 indicate that viewers can expect some thrilling comebacks and first-time appearances. The ABC soap is set to deliver some surprising twists as it shakes up the storyline.

Marshall Returns, Quinn Shows Up, Drew’s Big Splash

To kick things off, there’s an exciting return on the horizon as Robert Gossett is back to reprise his role as Marshall Ashford just as July comes to a close.

Marshall will undoubtedly meet his new grandchild and lend his support to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as he gears up for his trial.

Meanwhile, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) will insist that Quinn (Jequan Jackson) reconcile with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) first if he truly wants to mend their friendship.

Additionally, Trina and Kai will face a shocking revelation tied to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) impending lake incident.

This will lead to some misunderstandings, as they may wrongly conclude that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is to blame, despite the fact that it’s actually Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who pushes Drew into the water.

Kelly Kruger Debuts As Serena Baldwin, As Does Troy Lennon Appel As Hudson

Kelly Kruger is set to debut as the new Serena Baldwin on July 30, so fans should prepare for her to jump straight into the Deception drama. Serena is ready to play hardball and even resort to some sneaky tactics for the benefit of Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).

Additionally, viewers can anticipate Serena sharing significant moments with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) amidst the corporate turmoil.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is likely to have her own confrontations with Serena once she becomes involved in the Deception affairs.

On the same day, Troy Lennon Appel will introduce a mysterious business executive named Hudson.

Hudson May Be Part Of Why Ethan Goes On The Run

Hudson will be searching for someone in Port Charles and is prepared to take extreme measures to achieve his goals.

Could Hudson’s arrival foreshadow Ethan Lovett’s (Nathan Dean) departure? Ethan may soon find himself on the run, potentially linked to Hudson’s pursuit and the chaos he will bring to Port Charles.

There’s a chance that Hudson is Phoebe’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) biological father, but he might also just be an employee of his.

Phoebe’s “baby daddy” could be a significant villain, possibly connected to GH’s history, especially since Ethan obtained that DNA sample from a cold case evidence box at the PCPD.

Jason Reconnects With Sonny, Ric And Britt

Regarding Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he is set to reconnect with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and is likely to share some significant news.

There’s a strong possibility that Jason is about to announce his departure from the mob, which means Sonny will need to come to terms with this major shift.

Additionally, Jason will have to adjust to changes in Sonny’s life, especially since the mob boss is now depending on Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) as his lawyer and is growing closer to him as a half-brother.

Despite Jason’s reservations, Sonny might quickly come to Ric’s defense. Meanwhile, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) could find herself feeling quite lonely if Jason decides not to pursue their romance any further.

Jealous Charlotte

On the topic of romance, the relationship between Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) might come under fire.

That is,  if Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) lets her jealousy get the better of her. Charlotte has feelings for Gio, which could lead her to see Emma as a rival.

That’s despite Charlotte being a minor with no real chance of taking him from his actual girlfriend.
