General Hospital spoilers reveals Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is starting to feel like she’s going to have no choice but to live her life on Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) terms until the baby is born — at which point, she still won’t have much say in what direction her life goes in. The truth is, the further along Esme gets with her pregnancy, the more lonely she feels.
She doesn’t have a mother to turn to; she doesn’t even have her nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald, at this point. Most young women who are going to be mothers for the first time would benefit from those sorts of connections. All Esme has to lean on is Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), who clearly hates her. When Esme discovers someone else is within her reach, she just might hatch a plan to get their attention.

The next time Elizabeth checks in on Esmé, she might be in a hurry to wrap things up and get out of there. Could her swift demeanor be a sign that Victor is home and she doesn’t want him getting curious about what she’s up to? Certainly, Nikolas can occupy his uncle and keep him at bay. When Elizabeth is careless and lets it slip that Victor has moved in, Esmé just might think he will be her shot at making a break for it. Should she refrain from getting her hopes up though? What does she have to offer Victor one change for helping her.
GH Spoilers Hint Esme Sets Her Sights on Victor as Her Savior
Esmé might get the idea in her head that if she can just help lure Victor to the north tower, what he finds there will explain itself. A very pregnant Esmé being held hostage by Nikolas can only mean one thing, right? He’s trying to hide the baby and Esmé from everyone, but mostly, from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Victor could approach Esmé as an ally, seeing as how he enjoys collecting leverage on people.
However, Nikolas has been playing things pretty fast and loose. He’s cutthroat too, and Victor isn’t in a great position as it is right now with the PCPD circling around him in search of evidence that he framed Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Can Victor really afford to get caught up in helping Esmé right now? On the other hand, can he afford to get caught helping his nephew any better?
General Hospital Spoilers — Does Victor Benefit From Helping Esme?
Victor would indeed benefit from helping Esmé if he was able to secure her safekeeping somewhere else. Victor thibks hiding m her away until she has her baby is a fantastic plan. He would do the same thing, and might be willing to put her up somewhere now if he thought for one second he could trust her enough to stay out. She’s too darned curious though, and she has too many vendettas she’s eager to settle. The best way Esmé can actually help Victor is simply by knowing she’s there and with child, so he can hold it over Nikolas’head.
